Repeated authorization of Mac

Why do I have to repeatedly reauthorize my Mac? It's not that it fails an authorization - it may be days, weeks or months between reauthorization.

Hi Kinoav8r,


Since your Mac is being deauthorized, check to see if there are any unknown devices that are currently authorized that could be deauthorizing it. Here's how:


  1. "Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app.
  2. Choose Account > Account Settings.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password. Forgot your Apple ID?
  4. At the top of your Account Information page, look next to Computer Authorizations to see how many computers are authorized.
