My iPad has auto update and does not show iOS 14.0 as an option

How do I update to 14.0 when the iPad has auto update and it does not show 14.0 as an option.

If your signature is correct and you own a first generation iPad Air, which is on iOS 12.x.x, you cannot update that outdated device higher than iOS 12.5.5. It is too old and lacks the hardware required to run any of the newer iPadOS versions.


Sorry, but its time for a newer, more modern device at this point.
