Deleting stock apps

Hi,

They are part of the sealed, read only System supplied by Apple, and, as you found out, cannot be deleted.

You can Remove the from the Dock but as mentioned earlier - they can not be removed or deletes.

They will still be residing in the Applications folder

You can effectively remove a few Apple apps

• Open App Store
• Just below where is says Account make sure that Mac Apps is clicked
• You can now find Pages, Keynote, Numbers & GarageBand
• When your pointer hovers over the Icon click on the (...) Three Dots and then Delete App
• The app will now be stored in the cloud (Cloud symbol) but this can be hidden in the click down menu
