how do i upgrade to macOS Catalina
The control center for my Brother MFC-J985Dw needs upgrading in order to scan images. It no longer works with upgrading my iMAC to MacOS Catalina.
First you need to check if your Mac supports Catalina
Go to about this Mac and look wich type of iMac you have. Then you can look in this list macOS Catalina is compatible with these computers - Apple Support
to see if your iMac supports Catalina.
If your iMac supports Catalina, you can download it from the app store. If your iMac is compatible and you cannot find Catalina in the app store, you can go to this page How to get old versions of macOS – Apple Support (UK)
and tick Catalina. Hope this helps!
