I was really excited for shareplay to come out, but since launch I've had difficulties with the "Start For Me Only" option particularly when playing music. I thought turning auto-shareplay off would help, it didn't, so I turned off shareplay completely, but I still can't listen to music on facetime without forcing my parter to listen as well :/ even with the feature disabled the prompt will ALWAYS come up and it's really annoying tbh

Are you stating you're looking to listen to music independently from the Music app while on a FaceTime call?

.Additionally, if the "Start Only For Me" option continues not to work as expected try force closing both the Music app and FaceTime and completing a normal restart of your iPhone to test again.
