Today I noticed that when connecting my earbuds to my iPhone, speaker came on and nothing through my earbuds. I unplugged, reconnect, earbuds not working. Speaker to the phone automatically came on. What causes this?
iPhone 13 pm, brand new.

With your earbuds not working, make sure nothing is in the port. If you're using an adapter to connect earbuds with iPhone, try using a different adapter or a different pair of earbuds. Find additional steps in If your headphones don't work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
