Double underline
How do I do a double underline in pages for a simple balance sheet???

There is no double underline in a Pages table cell, but if you want to apply a double underline to the selected body text, you can launch Show Fonts via ⌘+T. The underline tool is the second from the left on the Show Fonts panel toolbar, and you would select Double to place a double underscore under your text selection. If you wanted a different color for the double underline, select the Color from the underline tool menu before you select Double. Probably a good idea to create a new Character Style for the selected double underline while you are at it.
