I have an I pod classic. It says battery low. Tried to charge several times but it won’t take charge. Why. Still says battery very low

Probably one if bad charger, bad cable, bad power outlet, fuzz or debris lodged in the connector, or a failing battery. Swap what you can of those possibly-failing hardware giblets, and—absent problem resolution with one of these—you’re then headed for an iPod classic hardware repair.
