YouTube screen turns black whenever played

My YouTube was working just fine, when suddenly it stopped working. Every time I try and play a video, the screen turns plain black, with nothing on it. I can still hear the videos audio, but theirs no picture to go along with it and it’s quite confusing.

I was wondering if someone could please help me fix it.

Restart your device once and check
If still the same, Disable any Ad blocker / VPN / Firewall installed one by one and check.
Update the App / Browser you are using to view the video.

I tried doing all of what you told me, but the problem is still there. I even tried on Safari ( I was using Chrome) and the problem was there too.
