15.4.1 lost contracts info and pics for some contacts

With 15.4.1 update I have lost contact names and pictures. How can I get these back or how can I revert back to the previous version in hopes to get everything back to the way it was?

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

Hey denabug,

While downgrading iOS is never recommended, there are some methods for resolving issues with missing Contact information. Let's look over a few things:

  • If you were using iCloud for contacts and they were accidentally deleted or removed, try these steps: If you accidentally deleted your calendars, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud - Apple Support
  • If you were not using iCloud, you may be able to restore the contacts: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
  • Make sure Contact syncing is enabled for all of your internet and email accounts: Settings > Contacts > Accounts > Go through each one and toggle that feature on
  • If you've recently removed any accounts, add them back and enable Contacts (Keep in mind that if you've recently lost access to an account due to leaving a school or job, for instance, that would remove Contacts saved to those accounts)
  • In the Contacts app, go to "Groups" and make sure to check off all available Groups and locations.

Take care.
