AirPods Pro hurting my ears

I’ve had the Pros for around a month now and love them but the more I use them I’ve noticed I’m getting some pain right in my ears.

I use medium tips but recently changed to large in the hope of they won’t go in as far so less pain but the difference isn’t that much to make a difference.

As of now I’m using them without tips so they feel like the 3rd gen, obviously no noise cancellation and the sound is inferior but I needed to give my ears a break.

I know this problem is very common, has anyone found a solution? Some shorter third party tips would be amazing but I don’t know if any exist.

btw, Returning is not an option

See your doctor and have them check your ears.
