Flashlight keeps turning on by itself after latest iOS15 update, iPhone 12 Mini

I've noticed an odd phenomenon the last few weeks, where I'll suddenly find my flashlight on.

I thought for a while it was me being sloppy, accidentally hitting flashlight button on the screen.

However, this week, I was using my phone in a way where the flashlight button was NOT on screen.

And the light still turned on by itself, while in hand.

That told me something odd is definitely going on.

I've noticed this happening since I updated to 15.4.1.

Any resolution or tips on this so far? Any way to stop this erroneous flashlight activity?

Sometimes a simple Forced Restart (something which is recommended after every iOS update) cures odd things.

If you have an iPhone 12 Mini:

Tap and quickly release volume up button
Then tap and quickly release volume down button
Then press and KEEP HOLDING the top power button (keep holding past the slide to power off) until you see the Apple Logo, then let go. Sign back in once your phone reboots.
