Nike running plans don’t work on apple Nike watch 7

Hey UTBadger, thanks for the reply, yes I knew that can be done, I discovered by accident, I was so frustrated that I just forget about the watch and started the program on the phone and I noticed that the watch started the timer at the same time as the phone, it also had the same count downs as the virtual coach was saying them… but this way of doing things is not that practical because I still have to get the phone out of my arm band or running belt to start the program and then rapidly put it away before I run out of my starting count down seconds in my case 9 seconds.. I thought when I bought the watch a few days ago, I could just lift my arm an press start, like I do with my garmin watch that also has running programs in it.. guess not : ( Thanks again ..
