Storage

hello, I recently just purchased the 2TB for my iPhone storage but it keeps saying that I am out of storage. I was wonder what I have to do to be able to actually use those 2TB without having to worry about why Iā€™m running out of storage.

thank you !

One of the ways or methods would be to 'get temporary

iCloud storage' ~ to see if that's workable.

Details in this article, expand on this theme only:

ā€¢ Get temporary iCloud storage when you buy a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

//support.apple.com/en-us/HT212732

There are clues how to proceed; and assume this is the Before, and you've

already invested in the After; through purchase of more iCloud+ capacity.

ā€¢ Upgrade to iCloud+ - Apple Support

//support.apple.com/en-us/HT201318

"You're billed every month for iCloud+Ā unless you downgrade or cancel your plan.

Each month you'll get an email to remind you of your upcoming payment."

There are more facts, ideas, & object lessons; & use iCloud+ as manageable practice.

This is an excess over the 5GB free amount given owners of Apple online products.

PS: The 'other side of this coin' occurs when you've too much stored online in iCloud+

ā€¢ Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support

//support.apple.com/en-us/HT204055

[It's no simple task try archive or consolidate what you have Off-line, safely; & delete, from iCloud+.]

This secondary matter can have you chasing your own shadow, before you know it. Each device has

to be isolated from the Cloud; & if an Archive is to remain in singular devices offline, that is the rub..

[IF there is no 'in-device' free-space, adequate and to support that capacity; those files will be lost.]

Wasn't certain to what extent you'd followed discussions about 'trials with tribbles' here in ASC.ā˜ŗļøŽ
