Apple watch warranty (Australia to India)

I'm planning on buying a series 7 apple watch from Australia for my sister who's going to use it in India.

What is the warranty status as in will the watch be covered in India or just in Australia?

Is there any way to buy it with an international warranty (is that even an option?), if yes is that with extra charges?
