Photos using 75GB but no photos on phone

My iPhone 12 Mini is showing over 75GB of space taken up by “Photos” in Settings, General, iPhone Storage. But I don’t have any photos or videos on my phone in Photos. I’ve also removed them all from iCloud, cleared out Hidden and Recently Deleted, and restarted my phone several times.

I do have a lot of photos and videos in my Messages (texts), but Messages seems to be its own category in iPhone Storage, which I imagine includes those photos and videos.

Any thoughts or help are appreciated, as I’m constantly running out of space.
