How do I add cash to Apple Pay once credit card is added?

See the instructions in Add money to Apple Cash - Apple Support including the following:
You can't use credit cards with Apple Cash, and you might not be able to use some prepaid cards. You can't add money from a gift card, even if it's already in Wallet.
Note that you will need a debit card or other option described above.
