Networking mac mini with OS 10.6.8 with an iMac with OS 10.13.6

I have a mac mini with OS 10.6.8 on the same network as an iMac with OS 10.13.6.

Neither one shows on the other in any way.

How to fix?

Networking 2 older Power Mac G4's running OS9 I have 2 Power Mac G4's (An iMac G4 700MHz Flat Panel and Power Mac G4 Digital Audio) both with fresh install of OS9 connected via a gigabit switching hub (it is 10bT, 100bT and 1000bT compatible). I can connect with Internet using Classilla on both but they will not see each other. What Am I missing... It has been many, many years since I set up a simple networking on OS9, So I would appreciate some help. Obviously I don't have something set up right. Thanks in advance.

In a Mac, other macs are only displayed in the Finder if they made Time Machine backups to the same system. If they don’t show up there, try restarting both macs.
