Song files on a computer

Hi can anyone tell me how to un protect my song files so that I can alter it on ITunes.Thanks Alex.

See Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows - Apple Community.

If these are Apple Music tracks with DRM protection then you cannot remove that nor use the songs outside of the Apple ecosystem. Purchase the music you want to use elsewhere.
