No voicemail notification on iPhone 12 after update

After the last iPhone update, I don’t get notifications for voicemail anymore. I do get a “missed call” notification but no voicemail notification and no voicemail. I had my husband leave a message and he was able to leave a message, just on my end my phone didn’t alert me of a voicemail and when I went to listen to his voicemail, there was nothing there.
