Rename multiple desktops (spaces)

Hi,

There was dialogue on this in the past. Has Apple yet developed a way to rename the various desktops (spaces) in mission control that can be created? I use one for work, one for school, one for home, one for a side job and it'd be easier/faster to recognize each if they aren't simply called Desktop 1, Desktop 2, Desktop 3 ...

I found third party options* but would like to know if Apple has integrated this feature into the current OS yet.

Thanks.

I was hoping for a better solution (more integrated into the OS) than using the Stickies app. This option doesn't work for me because as soon as an app covers up the the Stickies app, it is no longer visible, thus negating this workaround when viewing Mission Control. I want to rename the spaces/desktops long-term since I'm using 4 different ones daily, for months on end.

Has Apple not provided a way to achieve this yet?
