Yahoo mail very slow opening on IPad

It sounds like your Yahoo mail is loading slowly on your iPad.

If you're using the Mail app on your iPad to view your email, use the steps here to remove your account and add it again:

Remove your email account and set it up again

1. On your computer, sign in to your email provider’s website. Make sure that all of your email is there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device.

2. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.

3. Tap the email account that you want to remove.

4. Tap Delete Account.

5. Add your account again.

If these steps don't work, contact your email service provider for more information.

Are you using the built in iOS Mail application with your Yahoo account, or another email app? Or are you accessing your account via a web browser?

I recently had to uninstall the yahoo app and shut down my iPad and then start the iPad again and reinstall the yahoo app. I had the app on my phone and laptop already without any issues of slowness and because I had it on other devises , my data was not lost when I uninstalled on iPad . I’ve had apps get slow and this seems to fix it. This did also work this time with yahoo email and it’s very fast now. I would not do this without having yahoo email already installed on other devises though.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I have all updates, have shut down and reopened … but no change. What’s going on?
