I have duplicate Notes on IPhone 11

Under Folders in Notes I have two (2) duplicated files (see pic). Some how they’re linked, whatever I do in the iCloud one also happens in the one labeled Notes and visa versa. If I delete something in one, it deletes in the other and so on. i want to delete one. Also is it best to keep notes under the iCloud heading or the Notes?

I think I know how to delete one but not sure what will happen. The instructions I found states, go to “settings-mail-tap on accounts” If I open the yahoo account and I turn off the button next to notes, it asked if I want to delete notes? This is where I get nervous.

I get the same response under my iCloud account. I would like to be able to access my notes on my iPhone (as I refer to them often), but also want to make sure they back up to iCloud. HELP! So which account should I turn off notes, and what happens when I hit the delete button (see pic).
