I thought I was asking tech help. Now I realize I am asking google.

It's a one way communication. Once email is sent, those communications belong to the recipient and as far as I know, there is no way that it can be unsent.

The only way to do so is to have a tool or a service that delays sending a message, just in order to give the recipient some time to recall the message. For instance, Google allows unsend from webmail or Gmail apps, with a setting chosen by the user. Probably no way to do that through Apple's mail tool. It's not very long though, as most people actually want the recipient to get email ASAP. However, I don't believe it's really meant as an "Oh man I shouldn't send this email" feature, but if someone hit send before completing the email.

Recall an email with Undo Send
If you decide you don't want to send an email, you have a short time after to cancel it. Right after you send a message, you can retract it:
In the bottom left, you'll see "Message sent" and the option to "Undo" or "View message".
Click Undo.

Choose an amount of time to recall a message
On your computer, go to Gmail.
In the top right, click Settings  See all settings.
Next to "Undo Send," select a Send cancellation period of 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds.

If you're asking if there's any way to claw back a message that's been sent, then no. The current email standard has no such function.

Depends on the tool you use. I don't believe there's any way to do it if sent with any built-in Apple mail tool. I think most Gmail apps have 5 seconds. Outlook has a window and I think it can be adjusted.

However, that's only if the tool specifically holds back on sending it, and there will almost always be little time to "unsend" successfully.
