Unable to transfer data from old ipad to new

I go through all the motions of adding passwords etc, but right at the veery end if gives me a messaged saying


"Unable to complete data transfer"


So I reset it, add all the info I again and the same thing keeps happening


Is this something that's effected by the Internet connection? Or are there other correlating factors?

Very confused and frustrated

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If the transfer is not able to complete, the following steps can lead to a resolution:


• Make sure both devices are charging throughout the entire process.


• Ensure both devices are completely up to date - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


• Make sure both devices are connected with a cable or are connected to a strong Wi-Fi network.
