External display compatibility with Macbook Pro

Hey there!

I'm currently searching for an compatible external screen for my MacBook Pro 16" from work. I was using a Lenovo G27q but I couldn't adjust the screen's configuration. I tried with the same screen with another OS and the settings appears and works perfectly fine.

Do you have some recomendations for external screens who works fine with MacBook Pro? I've read about Dell screens has a great compatibility with MacBook Pro machines. The type of external screen I've looking for is for work with code, so for me it's much important the compatibility and quality of the screen.
