Is there any way to sign out of another account on my Mac?

Is there any way to sign out my account on mac.

this account was not mine (my friend account).

But unfortunately I can not reach him and I created new account and I need to change my apple id on my mac.

But mac does not allow to sign out without apple id info (the friends's one which I used before).

So I am asking to help.

Thanks

You need your friend's account information to sign out. The other things you can do is to restore the computer from a backup made prior to your friend signing in or boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair Disk and Repair Permissions until you get no errors.  Reformat the drive using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled), then click the Option button and select GUID. Quit Disk Utility, then re-install the OS.

Each Apple device is linked/associated with an Apple ID of the person who did the setup.

Activation Lock prevents anyone who is not the owner from using this MacBook.

To unlock the MacBook, you need the Apple ID and password of the previous owner (your friend), that were used during set up.

So have to contact the previous owner.

Apple cannot help you.

The previous owner (your friend) has to read -> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support

Then the previous owner (your friend) has to remove the MacBook from his account, see this Apple article:

Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in

Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in - Apple Support

Then you can sign in with your Apple ID.

If necessary, if you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork to include the original purchase receipt with the serial number on it.

Request additional support for unlocking your device.    -

You used to be able to take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened) and have them remove the ID. This may have changed, so call the store before going to make sure they can help.

If can not do both of 2 ways you suggested, it is impossible to sign out?

I don't understand why 'sign out' also needs account info?

the issue what I am facing can be occurred for others enoughly.

Because I am not so good at OS recovery and there is no backup so far, I don't really willing to use 2nd way.

Is there any other way to handle this?
