I just upgraded from Sierra to Catalina and now my computer will not recognize my Wacom Tablet, Intuos 3. I downloaded the latest driver and read somewhere that Intuos 3 will not work with the newer Mac OS. Please, tell me it's not so?

Did not work. This is all I can find. *Note: There is no driver support for 10.12 or newer with the Wacom Intuos 3. The last driver for the Intuos 3 can be located here.
I have 10.15.7 I also tried the latest driver and received a different failed message. The latest/newest driver installed gives the message that the board is not connected and to check the wiring. Power button is on.

I'm afraid your device is too old. The Intuos 3 is not included in the list of supported devices.
