How do delete a standard account?

I need help deleting a standard account from my MacBook Air. I went to System Preferences and then I selected Users & Groups. I unlocked the lock and selected the standard user I want to delete but it asks for their Apple ID password in order to delete the account. I don’t know the password so if someone can help me would be great. Thank you!!!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.3
