Disable Macbook charging chime when the cover is closed
This issue had been giving me constant anxiety and auditory hallucinations so please take it seriously.
My macbook's battery charging chime kept on repeating itself every 30-50 seconds or so when the lid is closed and when it is charged.
This may seem stupid to hear but the amount of annoyance this stupid little feature caused is literally driving me crazy. Try getting sleep when every 50 second you hear this little "whamnn" sound. I am on the verge of throwing my macbook off the building now.
The thing is, it never made that sound when the lid is on and when I am using it, it only happens when it is closed.
I could replicate this issue with different charger and wire, so it is not their problem.
I even went as far as deleting the charging chime .aif file in Powerchime app in CoreServices, BUT IT IS TO NO USE, when I close my macbook and charge it, IT STILL MAKES THE SOUND, AND REPEATS IT EVERY 50 SECONDS. (When I charge it when the lid is open, it does not make any sound)
Sometimes I couldn't get sleep because of this most annoying bug because I will have to turn the computer off or unplug it but the computer is charged next room, and as a incel degenerate I am too lazy to walk that far.
I searched through reddit and it seems to be some sort of logic board issue? Although, since my computer is almost full and I do not wish to go through the emotional turmoil to replace a whole computer just for this bug, Can anyone please tell me WHY is the computer making the sound when I LITERALLY deleted the sound file in PowerChime already? And if it is a different software causing this problem, WHERE CAN I DELETE IT?
I apologize for my inconsistent english but I am typing this 5am in the morning after finally fed up of this and getting wake up by it.
