iPad Air 5 m1 lag issue on bgmi (PUBG)

Hi guys, I recently purchased Air5 m1 and OS 15.4version. I installed bgmi(PUBG )game. The game lags and struggles a lot. I’m unable to play a single match as it drops frames on every move. Even the lobby inside the game is not smooth at the lowest settings.

I’m regretting my purchase. 

Could you guys confirm if any of your experience similar issue or point me to a workaround solution.
