Why was Evony removed from Apple's App Store?

There is a update regarding this situation. The app developer has now spoken to Apple regarding this, and the app is now back on the App Store. Sorry for any inconvenience this caused you. You may now continue with your game.

If you purchased a in app purchase during the shutdown, and did not receive your purchase, try the ‘Restore Purchases’ feature in the app. Alternatively, you may request a refund directly with Apple. The link has been provided for you!

I am sure Evony will not want to lose all IOS players so they will work it out with apple. In the mean time, do not delete your game or you won’t be able to reinstall until this issue is fixed. If we get to an update before that time that is required to play, we may not be able to continue until Evony is back in App Store

UPDATE: Evony is back in our "App Store" the following is just a noted way to back up or move the game to different platforms.

How to move Evony to different devices (Android or Windows)

Windows: Download BlueStacks on your PC, and run the program. Add Evony via the "Play Store"

Follow the instructions below and link your account. (see below)

Now you can play on windows or your phone.

Other Devices: (see below)

EVONY: (attaching and retrieving your gameplay to a new device)

launch Evony, get past all the "new player" "stuff"

go to the 3 dots (bottom right side).

go into settings (the gear icon)

go to your account (here is where you link Evony to your FB)

once the account is linked to your Facebook. Your game play will be imported to the device

This method also is used if changing phones or devices and you want the game across multiple places.

Just link your game to Facebook for now, it will be safe there

how Are we supposed to update the game?

Lot of money has been spent in-app purchases, do we get a refund?

Wondering the same thing. And I am having some issues and told me to clear the game cache which means deleting the app and reinstalling. If I did what they said I would have been screwed sooner than later.

Seriously, I was told to reset the app by deleting and re downloading it. And it’s vanished. I don’t iTunes understand. We have to access to this game otherwise we lose everything. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars for this. I’m not losing it. The fact every password is saved in my iPhone (as that’s the whole point), having to log in elsewhere took too much time. This is an absolute disgrace. Terrible customer service.

No chance to bubble, so everything will be dead after an update.

It’s not allowing me to do it! Only Game Center and Apple. EVONY should be responsable for doing this. Customer service answer was: (see picture) is this a joke?

Apple should refund everyone’s money and they can deal with Evony.
