Mac OS X 10.5.8

i am having issues connecting to Safari or any internet with my Mac. I can open the safari browser but when trying to select a site it says “Safari can’t open the page. Because safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server.” It says this with every website I select.

This happens to me occasionally in Snow Leopard but it’s just because Safari for Leopard is now outdated and uses older, less secure connections. You’re better off installing Google Chrome if you use Leopard as your main OS

..There's some dated older stuff online in searchable web content;

usual failings ~ outdated content, verses later; maybe not so much..

Back to the Q: about Leopard 10.5.8 (for intel) and Chrome-like browsers..

https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=chrome-based+mac+browser+for+10.5.8&ia=web

(A newer build is being devised by 'former tenfourfox' persons. That

has No Support; they almost have an equivalent of ESR Firefox 100+.

https://github.com/classilla/tenfourfox ~ Experimental/not ready!)

If this works, see: https://tenfourfox.blogspot.com for some info.

Not sure what you may find looking into that area. I've some early Intel

-based Macs w/ TenFourFox~10.4.11/10.5.8 [intended for PPC G3/G4/G5.]

..TenFourFox + Gmail complains when I still use that to login 10.5.8 now..

Newer chrome-like browsers (as Brave) have 'evolved past' compatibilities.

(There may be some backward compatible DIY build for Snow Leopard?)
