Trouble downloading Apple Music cloud library on Mac with Monterey OS.

I have a MacBook with a fresh install of OS Monterey and am trying to download my Apple Music cloud library that has about 26k songs. Every time I "select all" and choose "download", I get maybe a few dozen songs downloaded or less, and the downloads just stop. It's like there's a network interruption with the server and the software refuses to persist.

Can anyone recommend a sure proof way to get my music library onto this Mac? I want to download it from the cloud so that it has a fresh start and is organized correctly, so I can then sync the songs to my DJ software. Please help.

Thanks.

Create a smart playlist with the rule location is not on this computer, and limit it to say 100 songs at a time. Use CMD-A to select all, right-click, and download. Test for a larger limit that works without stalling. Rinse and repeat.
