how do I get rid of Google Drive??

How do I get rid of Google Drive if it is open? Can't move it to trash and don't know how to close it, and it is self-replicating itself everywhere like a monster!

  • System Preferences -> Users & Groups [your login ID should be at the top and in focus]
  • Click on Login Items
  • You will see Google Drive in the list click on it and remove it by clicking on the minus sign at the bottom of the list
  • Restart the Mac and try deleting the google.app from the Applications Folder
