“this accessory may not be supported”

getting the “this accessory may not be supported” from a stock charger. update does nothing. it keeps halting my charge at random, plugged into a normal outlet with all apple brand plugs and blocks.

“This accessory may not be supported” I have tried multiple different chargers, brands of chargers and even methods of charging. No matter which cord I use though, I keep getting a message reading “This accessory may not be supported” After doing some research, I found that usually this means the cord isn’t verified by Apple, however some of the cords I was trying were Apple manufactured cords. If anyone knows how to fix this or has any recommendations about how to go about this, please don’t hesitate to help! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Mac charger won’t charge, even with Apple suggestions. I’ve had this problem with my Mac about three times. It just won’t charge. Today, I discovered that my iPad charger does work on my Mac (was desperate trying to charge it). I’ve changed the charger several times and plugged it in directly. Im assuming the problem is the charger as my Mac but given my unlucky results with every new chwrger, is there something else I can do? Apple suggestions don’t always work, so any recommendations would be great:

Clean the lint out of the lightning port with a toothpick.
