Apple car play

My apple car play suddenly stopped working on my car. I would like to get help troubleshooting this so that I can get it working again. I have an iphone SE second generation. My husband's iphone works perfectly with the car still, so it is an not an issue with the car. Seems to be something with my phone. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Does “the car” mean the identical car to the one referred to as “my car” above?
Do you and your husband each have your own, unique Apple IDs? (Hopefully the answer is “yes.”)
Is Bluetooth the connection method used by both iPhones?

Car play has not worked with my iPhone 11 for months. My calls, texts, and GPS all fail and disconnect at random times, making it impossible to finish a conversation or find my way to a location!!! Anyone have any insight?
