I didn't get an "add to my wallet" option for my recent airline reservation. Google search says to contact the merchant and the merchant says to contact apple. I'm frustrated.

Is that what you meant? I doubt that Alaskan has removed that capability from their app.
Your electronic ticket should have an Add to Wallet; are you sure you are looking at the ticket, and not the reservation confirmation?
Where is the "ticket"? Are you referring to the boarding pass? If so, then I guess I can't do this yet. The trip isn't for a while yet. I thought I could put my ticket in my "wallet" now. Thank you.
