refurbished non-Premier iphone is completely dead
You guessed it advertised as a ++; seller disappeared. Phone was opened once by a pro. Battery 7%, dropped on a soft floor, phone just dead until power connected.

Sounds like a dying battery, but I would recommend that you make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for an evaluation and explanation of your options. They will be able to tell you if it is fixable...if it is not fixable, you can recycle it there.

Recycle it responsibly.
It is a non-Apple refurbished iPhone once opened by a non-Apple technician. I seriously doubt Apple will do anything with it other than offering to recycle it.
I agree with Deggie!
After a few cycles, improvements. Now, I may only kill it at 4%. 😳
