Resetting Apple Watch

Problem: My granddaughter has an Apple Watch paired to a phone she now longer has and does not know where it is. Additionally, she has forgotten what user ID and password she used for that phone. She now has a new iPhone 13 she needs paired to the Watch

question: given the circumstances above, how can she get this Watch reset so she can pair it to her new phone?

Activation Lock is designed to prevent anyone else from using an Apple Watch if it's ever lost or stolen.

About Activation Lock on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Activation Lock is an anti-theft feature that cannot be bypassed. Only the previous owner can remove the lock by using their Apple ID & password. If the previous owner cannot or will not remove the lock, then the watch is useless to you or anyone else.

You can try these:

If you forgot your Apple ID email address or phone number - Apple Support

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

You can ask apple to remove the activation lock online on this page;

Remove the Activation Lock Here.

Or this;

If you can't remember/gain access to the apple id that paired the watch to the phone.Take the watch and it's receipt with the serial number along with some photo id and any other proof of ownership to an Apple Store and request that they remove the Activation Lock for you.
