Unwanted Emojis

Is there a way to delete unwanted emojis? There are many I don’t use, but some I find disgusting. I pay for the phone and a great many other Apple devices. I do not put apps on my phone that I don’t enjoy. Why should I be required to have emojis embedded in my phone that are disgusting to me?

I’ve discovered that users cannot create emojis (except for their personal anemoji). That seems curious to me, but okay, there’s a central agency for keeping emojis uniform. It would seem easy for Apple to allow users to simply delete ones they choose never to use.

No. The emoji character set is defined by the Unicode consortium.

What you're asking is the equivalent of saying you want to delete letters from the alphabet because you don't use them.

If you don't want to use them, then don't use them.
