Custom Cursor on Monterey

Hi Guys,

As most of you should be aware, MacOS Monterey has been notorious for its memory leaks. I am slightly concerned about that but this is something which I can deal with myself and get help for. However, with the custom cursor function, is there any way to use that without there being any catastrophic impacts, principally on memory leaking?

The problem with many custom cursors, is their storage value is different from the primary cursor. You would need to make sure the custom cursor creation does not exceed the storage value of the existing cursor it is meant to replace.

It might be helpful to join http://developer.apple.com/ and see what you can do to ensure Mac OS X does not allow cursors that do exceed the standard cursor storage.
