wrong music album pictures on iphone

A number of the tracks on my music collection have the incorrect album cover photos on them despite them being correct when viewed on iTunes on my PC. I use the latest iTunes and the latest IOS on my iPhone 11. I've synched it a few times, turned it off and on etc as suggested in some other posts, all to no avail. I'm not overly troubled by it when using the phone but when playing music in the car i find it distracting to show an incorrect photograph on the large LCD display, It's not all tunes, only some of them. Is there a solution to this?

Hello Paul,

This usually happens as a result of incorrect information related to the music file. You can learn how to change the information related to music files here: Change song and CD information in Music on Mac.

Once you confirm the information related to your music files is correct, you can learn how to check for album artwork here: Add artwork to content in Music on Mac

If you're using Apple Music library, Apple Music will try to match your music files to music on Apple Music. If your music files have incorrect information related to them, it may cause issues with matching files. Access your music library on all your devices

Cheers!
