missing all my downloaded music when my suscription to apple stopped -

Hi - I lost all my downloaded music? -I now have a new apple subscription and can not find my old downloaded music from my old original subscription. I did not renew my old subscription in time so there was a time-lapse - where can I find the music i downloaded over the past few years ? Thanks H
