After downloading the latest update I’m finding that on chrome websites I try to access to watch videos on, I cant full screen. This was never a problem before the new update but I would like to be able to go into fullscreen to view videos again. How to fix?

Hey guys, same here. Tryna to watch anime but videos icon just change to maximized but it doesn’t actually maximize.
For now, I found temporary fix: use Mozilla Firefox
I know it sucked for some people, including me.. but it’s only thing that is alright but works.
Y’all should report it to chrome.
Just checked and the problem is just on chrome and it occurs on any website that uses the same servers. There is no fullscreen problem on safari though which is strange, only in chrome.
i am having same issue and not in safari. I can watch the same videos in full screen in safari

Just to confirm, are you able to view these videos in the Safari browser? Is only one website affected or can you not watch videos on multiple sites?

Having the same issue. Everything was fine before the update and I accidentally left my iPad plugged in over night and it auto updated. Now every time I click the full screen button or double tap the video window the icon will change like it switched to full screen but the video player stays the same not in full screen.
Haven’t tried it with safari because no one uses it because it is bad. Friends that are die hard apple fanatics even talk about how bad safari is.
Chrome too. I can't watch videos in full screen mode and it's soo frustrating. I got this issue soon I updated to latest ipados

Full screen is working on Safari for me. I just don’t like using Safari.
