iCloud+ upgrade

I just upgraded to iCloud 200GB but iCloud still shows 5GB. How long does it take to get my 200GB?

Check -> Go to -> Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> if you see 50 GB (or 200 GB ot 2 TB) then you have an iCloud subscription.

If you have an iCloud subscription, you will receive a monthly bill from Apple, check your e-mail box.

You pay monthly for iCloud storage.

I received email notice "Your iCloud storage is almost full. You have 936.2 MB remaining of 50 GB total storage." A link was provided to upgrade, so I clicked the provided link "Upgrade to iCloud+ with 200 GB for $2.99 per month". After confirming the purchase, the screen closed and didn't provide any acknowledgement, so I expected it worked. However iCloud it still shows 50G. I figured I did something wrong, so I went through the process again and purchased 200G a second time.....same results?
