Trace / lock my lost MacBook

Hi, I lost my MacBook a couple of days ago. Is there any way to lock it from further use. And if so would I be able to unlock it later on should it come back?

I still have the box with the serial number and part number

And is there by any chance a way to track it's location? I never set up "find my" but have connected to it via bluetooth on other devices.
