The Home button on my iPhone 8 began making a weird clicking noise and vibration this morning. It was fine yesterday. It’s never happened before. Any ideas of (1) what it is and (2) what to do about it?

We understand that you're noticing haptic feedback for your Home Button since you've installed the latest iOS update.
You can disable haptic feedback if you'd like. Check this out: Change iPhone sounds and vibrations - Apple Support
Turn haptic feedback off or on
1. On supported models, go to Settings> Sounds & Haptics.
2. Turn System Haptics off or on.
3. When System Haptics is off, you won’t hear or feel vibrations for incoming calls and alerts.
