Watch keeps trying to connect with second phone

I have 2x iphones with the same Apple ID, one for personal use and one for work. My iwatch is paired with my personal phone. After a month of silence, over the past few days my work phone keeps asking to pair my iwatch to it (~15 times/day). Verified watch still paired with personal phone. Deleting the app does not stop the alert. How do I get this prompt to stop appearing on my work phone?

Hey operationbismark,

If both devices are using the same Apple ID account, what you've described sounds like it's likely expected behavior. One thing you might want to consider in the future though, is using Dual SIM so you don't need two phones, and instead can have two phone numbers on the same phone, one for personal and one for work. This would likely alleviate any issues you're experiencing by having a second device linked to the same account. For more info, check out: Using Dual SIM with an eSIM - Apple Support

Since it requires Bluetooth to set up Apple Watch on your iPhone though, you could also disable this on the second iPhone and it'll likely prevent this from popping up. Test things out and keep us posted on how it goes.

Take care!
