Freezing

My 8 year old Macbook Air 13" keeps either freezing shortly after restart or wouldnt start but is just showing a white screen, sometimes with a square with a question mark. is it fixable or ready to be trashed?

Try the following:

▷ Update macOS.

▷ Try Safe Mode.

▷ Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac.

If that does not help, then get expert service and support at the Genius Bar.
